Dolmenwood campaign diary session 39
Not that much in this one.
Players are rejoined by the PC that couldn't make it last session. They pass through the village of Odd where they try to buy a mule off of an old woman. She doesn't really want to do it, because what use she has for gold in a village. The Enchanter uses Sway the Mortal Mind to make her sell it.
The PCs leave the village of Odd and meet the black sprites that request their help. Party decides to continue on to the Halls of Sleep but promise to come back the next day.
The next day they do come back for the sprites and hear them out - black sprites have an issue with blue sprite tribe near the road on the other side of the Odd village. The party decides to investigate, but while crossing Odd they get accused of murder. The old woman who they magically forced to sell her mule was killed and the PCs are prime suspects. They flee the angry mob back to the Halls of Sleep.
The next day they decide to continue on to Harrowmoor Keep. On the road they get attacked by the bandits that previously robbed them. This time though, since they have 10k in coins, they decide to fight. They kill one of the bandits and heavily wound the leader. The rest of the bandits flee and they take the leader alive. They go back to Halls of Sleep to have the leader hanged, but first they relieve him of his enchanted fairy (+2) leather armor. The Enchanter dons it but the cursed ring he wears stops him from gaining any positive effects from it.
One more night spent in Halls of Sleep and they're off to Harrowmoor Keep, this time without any surprises.
Since they didn't decide to investigate situation in the Odd, they'll probably won't be able to visit it peacefully - the trail of real murderer will go cold before they get back. They might suffer some legal problems as well, maybe Guillefer wills end out an investigator and I'll roll how well he does his job.
